Terra Incognita is a term used to describe unknown land or land that has yet to be mapped. Working primarily in photography and short video pieces, my recent works are a poetic record connecting both observation and performative gesture. Begun during a period of physical recovery and continued through the recent pandemic, Terra Incognita was born out of experiences connected to healing, perception and longing. Through a process of collection and reflection, images taken at different times and places become interwoven in order to convey a more nuanced expression of personal experience.
